1928

1928 Victor Reemsnyder (b.1897) founds Victor Advertising Service (VAS) in North Haven, CT selling pencils, yardsticks, and calendars.

1954

1954 Victor’s son, Harding Reemsnyder, joins VAS and expands business into new promotional arenas.

1964

1964 Harding assumes ownership and continues to build VAS’ name and reputation.

1982

1982 Victor passes away, leaving not only a name and a company, but a wonderful legacy.

1993

1993 Jerry Margolis acquires VAS and begins an aggressive expansion, servicing local businesses, schools and organizations.

1998

1998 VAS continues to grow its client base and relocates to Middletown, CT to accommodate additional employees and an updated/expanded showroom.

2001

2001 VAS’ reputation for efficiency and trust leads to recognition as a leading supplier, ranking in the top 10% of gross U.S. sales amongst competitors.

Jerry’s son, Scott Margolis, joins VAS and continues to uphold VAS’ commitment to professionalism and quality merchandise which attracts prominent national and international companies such as Pepsi, C-SPAN, Radio Shack and Federation of International Football Association (World Cup Soccer).

Present VAS has solid relationships with its client base who have become long-standing customers due to VAS’ personalized service.
